Kristin Ellsworth has a 9-month-old Border Collie Pyrenees mix named Louie who got into an accident and smashed his leg. In the 7 months Kristin has had Louie, he has helped her through some rough times and become an important part of her family.
The vet informed her that the dog’s leg could be fixed with several screws and a plate, but that would be a pricey bill for the surgery. Even after surgery, Louie will need pain medications, antibiotics, and physical therapy.
Kristin reached out for help through GoFundMe and applied for loans to obtain the funds needed to help her loved one.
On Wednesday February 8th, Louie received his surgery from Grant Creek Veterinary Services in Missoula, where he received a rod and 13 screws in his leg.
Kristin wishes to thank everyone very much for their assistance and contributions. She is very relieved to have her beloved Louie by her side and on the way to recovery.
