Parker Farms Greenhouse

Posted on May 22, 2023May 22, 2023 by Karen McIlwain

Spring is in the air which means it’s time to start thinking about those gardens. Who better to help you out than a local family owned and operated greenhouse, Parker Farms.

Parker Farms has been in the Parker family since 1929 and was originally entirely a Grade A dairy farm. In 2000, they started a greenhouse and started growing several different kinds of flowers and vegetables.

Parker Farms is located at 50 Parker Road, Fort Shaw, MT. They grow a wide variety of garden vegetables and flowers using organic soil and fertilizer.  They have perennials, and annuals, including flower baskets, roses, hydrangeas, pansies, lilies, and tulips. They have strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, onions, kale, cucumbers, squash, and pumpkins. They carry several varieties of herbs, tomatoes, and peppers. They have so many items we just can’t name them all.

If you need flowers or other plants, they probably have what you need. If you want to give the gift of plants, but don’t know what kind to give, ask them about gift certificates.

Parker Farms will be in Augusta, Montana May 27th at Latigo & Lace, so stop by and pick up stuff to get your garden going. If you have any questions, call (406) 788-5651, and mention you saw it in The Augusta Breeze.
